I had prepared a bunch of snippets that I wanted to show off,but didnt get a chance. I could link to the entry where I explained why, and what I had prepared, but if ( Read more... )

I'd pick a scene from the Power Puff Girls' Beatles episode where every single bit of dialogue was Beatles' lyrics. Not sure which scene though.

And one of those Loony Tunes type of cartoons with the little pig who had the really bgig family and by the time the food got to him it was gone- so somehow he ended up in hell or something and he was just force fed pies, etc. I wish I remembered more but I loved that one. And any of those "Cars of the future, "Homes of the future" cartoons from way back.

I know of what you speak. Fat little piggy has himself a nightmare.
What a creepy, creepy cartoon
I love it.

Any 5 minutes from any episode of "The Tick."

The much-lamented "Cartoon Planet," source of all those Space Ghost CDs.

A lot of people seem to like Gorillaz videos, but I don't.

About 2 months ago, I was longing for an episode of SpaceGhost forreal. Not space ghost as adult swim presented him, but old space ghost kickin ass, turning invisible and shooting laser beams. This lasted for about an hour in the pool and then I realized that Adult Swim SG was waay funnier. Anyway I'm partial to 'the Macho Man' appearing as his grandfather.

Gorillaz videoz... interesting. i hadnt even considered that. I'll have to watch some. But in honor of you, I wont like them.

I would also bring some "Futurama," probably the one where Bender goes to hell and there's a whole song about Robot Hell.

There's nothing I love more than cartoons with songs in them.
