Mary and I went to an Old West, Old Nevada ghost town today.
Bonnie Springs. Not too far out of town, we got to watch an old west melodrama, a gunfight, and even a hangin'. Then we walked the mean street, saw a longhorn with a nosering, a polish chicken, and I went home with the star prosecutor in the trial of 'Mad Dog' the bank robber. This being

I almost went Gandalfing with the kids this year. I think it's allowable. And I clearly need to step up my Bagginsday game; we didn't have any hangings at all. Although we did visit a combination comic shop/hair salon.

I think it's okay to Gandalf someone on Baggins Day as long as you end up having your own adventure too. Even if you have to take a few minutes and just stand in that corner of the bathroom you've never stood in before (it's the thought that counts).
