That really, really sucks. I feel like the communication between students and Res Life has been...well, pretty sucky. I happen to really like a lot of the people in Res Life...some of them have their annoying traits, but mostly they DO want to do a good job and they DO want to be helpful to students. It becomes a bad cycle, though...students are frustrated with something that's the responsibility of someone in Res Life, so they get angry about it, and tell other students about it, and then students start feeling like the Res Life folks are one big collective adversary.

I'm pretty sure they did send out some sort of notification that you needed to fill out a form for May Term housing...I'm not sure what sort, but even I knew about that, and I wasn't even staying for May Term. I'm not saying that you should have known...clearly you didn't know, and that sucks...but that may be what they tell you; there was probably an email or a mailing about it, and I know it's even in the course catalog.

With res-life but Im sorry Im a supporter of Res-life, so sorry dude. Well at least they could still get you a room, and think of it this way... I dont know how to think right now but you should be thinking of it "this way". So enjoy the dorm all to yourself. God knows what could be done.
