Another lesson to be learned from screwing up is that it's normally a good idea to remain cheerful. HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

And now, a quote from my inorganic chemistry lab, way back when.
Me: The glory continues!
Kate: Disgusting.

I know the feeling. I am currently putting all my happiness behind convincing myself that cascading baby food jars full of noxious substances is amusing and not nightmarish...happy is good. its not so bad if you can laugh at it.

Perhaps I should clarify.
I'm not trying to be cheerful in order to convince myself that things are okay. I believe by default that things are okay and thus I am cheerful.
I suppose what I'm saying is that my mentality is not that, "It's not so bad if you can laugh at it." Rather, my mentality is, "It's all good so why be unhappy?"

I am confused. so how did you reach the conclusion that being cheerful is a good thing to maintain through a mistake, especially if cheerful is default?

doesn't messing up mean that something went horribly (or not so horribly) wrong? so then things weren't okay, so...

I'm confused.

(I am not trying to rain on your parade. I am very happy for you and like the idea a lot, but I don't understand and would like to so please don't be upset or bothered by me being silly...sorry.)
