Moon and Venus (and Mars too)

I just looked out my window (I have a fantastic view) and I can see the moon (waxing, currently just a sliver) with Venus (incredibly bright) above it. Not that far along the ecliptic above them is Mars. If you follow the ecliptic across the sky you come across first Saturn, and then Jupiter in the East (I can't actually see these from my window,
