Ennis blinked his eyes open and looked around the room sleepily. A thin beam of light stretched across the room from a gap in the curtains. He slowly sat up and brushed the soft quilt off him, before slowly falling back into the bed and pulling the covers back over him, craving just 5 more minutes warm in bed.
