Not a lot of action tonight on Sleepy Hollow, but tons of character and world-building stuff! How Crane discovered the world of the supernatural, how he met Katrina, how he came to change sides during the Revolution. And speaking of character stuff, John Noble acted the hell out of his scenes. He had precisely two, and from those you got a real sense of a complicated, haunted man.
On the lighter side of character development, Crane trying to comprehend baseball was priceless. Embracing its representation of American freedom by calling the umpire "Basket-face" cracked me up.
And it appears the casting director is dipping into the genre pool of actors. John Noble and Craig Parker, micro-mini LOTR reunion on set!
