Supernatural, I don't even know....
This is a really weird episode. Dean taking on dog characteristics, mildly funny. Animals in the pound talking, definitely funny. Yorkie who wants tummy rubs from only Sam, hilarious!
The cat-eating was really really uncomfortable. And I know Dean's heart was in the right place, but releasing all those animals was not the best call for their welfare. (Although it did give him a posse to call on later.) Sam being on the menu was also kind of squick-inducing.
And that intro? What a grab bag bunch of clips to spell out This Is One Of Those Oddball Funny Episodes. Trust Us.
All in all, a rather Ben Edlund-esque episode, although without quite as much finesse.
