tell this person not to read something they cannot normally stand. If you don't like HG/SS then why do these morons read it.

Sighs.

The extent of humans' stupidity amuses me to no end.

Flamers are good, they raise the review count. It also means you have arrived. Congratulations!

Pretty tame for a flame, not even excessivly rude or anything. I'm sure I could do better *g*

But really people, what's the point of reading things you know you'll detest from the get go? There is a reason I never bother with reading H/Hr, SS/RL or R/H *shudders*. There's just no point in going around flaming those who do like such prepostrous things. And I can stick with canon compliant ships like R/S *BG*

I have pairings I usually avoid (primarily Malfoy/anyone and Snape/anyone: they're just too creepy). But I'd have missed some excellent work if I changed that "usually avoid" to "never read."

Well, I'm sure everone has their ship that they avoid... for me it's always H/Hr.. but I don't go around calling others prepostrous. The only "prepostrous" ship I can think of is the recent Peeves/Buckbeak on Deleterius... *shudders*

I'm right there shuddering with you.
... But at the same time, there's a horrible fascination, sort of like looking for casualties as you squeeze past a multi-car pileup...

Yuucch.

*chuckles* Wow...this impressive in how lame their flame is. If you're actually going to go to the all the trouble of being flame-y, why so lame? I mean...there wasn't even any horribly rude personal comments in it! they're supposed to tell you how stupid and ugly the writer is - especially since they've never seen you before....maybe I should teach a class: Flaming Online: 101 :P

congrats on stepping into the real world of fanfic, luv! Someday I swear I will follow!

Thanks! I know this is pretty lame, and FA took it off in an instant... but I can't help but to boast a bit. I hope I'll get a better flame next time.. something with swear words and wrong spellings, maybe. ;)

oooh! You know you're part of the elite when they start misspelling words because they're so peeved at you! Maybe they'll even be super cool and throw in some 10z3rz and suxxor!

Its the same way no matter how you ship.

I myself have not been flamed but back in the day when I was all about CSI I had a friend that I co-wrote a fic with and she/we got flamed for being a mary-sue. Witch, I'll admit it was a very mary-sue fic.

It's okay! I have a fic on ff.net that got over 300 reviews but is a complete MS fic. I cringe now when I read it. I'm sure everyone has written a bad fic or two. The thing that matters is to keep trying and not get defensive like some people out there do. ;)
