grumble

Well, my mom finally took off.  She headed down to Portland to spend time with my grandma & my aunts & uncles (She has 8 living siblings; most of them in the Portland area) and I miss her already!  I'd kind of gotten used to having a second person around.  It's awfully quiet and lonely all by myself here!  I've been getting out and walking around ( Read more... )

I'd say that having the screen door would be worth it, if only to really enjoy a beautiful sunny day(like here today).

Glad to hear that you're healing up, even if it's slow going.

It looks noticeably better, which is really encouraging. Though I kind of want it healed now at least it's healing!

I'm really glad to hear that you are healing - I know from experience just how long it takes. I was lucky - mine being bikini-line I could wear flowing skirts.

And the four months or more spent wearing tenafix pants to hold my dressings in place has come in useful over the years when people, usually care staff, have said 'Yes, but you've never had to wear them!' :)

LOL at the tenafix pants!

I'm hoping I can pull off flowey skirts when I've healed up a little bit more. I have a couple cute ones! But yeah, mid-line incision has drawbacks for sure!

It's really encouraging to see some healing! At first I didn't see any difference at all, which was kind of depressing, you know?

Well sorry your mom has gone, although I pretty much know exactly what you're saying w/ the choices of media, lol...

And also rooting for healing. It only seems like forever, right? *sigh*

LOL at the media choices! We did watch a lot of old movies, No 1 Lady's Detective Agency, Call the Midwife, and Rockford Files.

Healing. But slowly, it's getting old. You know?
