laundry woes

I'm a fan of the designer Eileen Fisher. Her stuff is very simply cut and well made; lots of neutrals, and lots of interesting materials. Very drapey and well cut, and the styles don't change all that much. It's much too expensive for me to justify buying it unless it's on a very steep sale; or from ebay. I opened the drier, and briefly though I must have gotten insulation in the laundry somehow! I've never had anything shed lint like that, but it's probably why I was supposed to handwash, LOL!

EVERYTHING goes in the washer at my house. I figure if it dies, it wasn't meant to live... sort of a Darwinian thing I guess, lol.

But I have a TON of stuff that gets hung up to dry in the bathroom. All the bike clothing and plenty of other things as well.

Hee-- darwinian laundry!

wool sweaters are hand-washed at casa zanthine, but otherwise I'm a "toss it in, hope it works out" kind of girl. I do hang a lot of things to dry too though; I kind of wish I had a real clothes line!
