I'm liking 2009. I have spent the day watching telly. I then switched to Sufjan Stevens (Come on, feel the Illinoise) while making a sumptuous dinner of Steak and Ale pie, mash and roast veggies. Could it get better? Perhaps with the addition of a warm, lazy dog. But thanks for the reminder that I need to make a steak pie again soon! What do you put in yours besides steak and ale? (Not that you need much more.)

Carrots. But only because I like gravy soaked carrots. And flour for thickening.

I'd rather a warm fuzzy cat, but himself is allergic...

We're just about to tuck into the leftover steak pie from last night. The cat's curled up on the sofa, the dog's in front of the fire and life is pretty damn good. :)

What is this "sun" of which you speak? ;)
Sounds great, and I am most envious. Actually, I'm not really. I was have a very nice day, and am determined to continue the trend until I have to go back to work on Monday.
