new year's update

Christmas was lovely, as usual. Kind of a bummer with all the rain, and with Kyle being on the other side of the country, but it was great seeing all of my family. And almost miraculous that my grandparents - my dad's parents, anyways - made it to Christmas. It really made me appreciate it that much more

I feel stupid for admitting this, but I didn't realize how much eating out costs until recently when I sat down and examined myself ...and, shit, including tips and drinks, it's over $30 a meal. And that's if I am not on a date.

So, yeah, that resolution of yours is mine, too. Although it's also to learn to cook! :0)
