Bag Meme Yo
Because by now everyone has done it, so I'm bringing it back and making it cool again.
Voila, my bag. My winter bag for uni, to be more specific. Got it off Etsy, it's about 16" x 18", heavy duty black twill and wool plaid. Very sturdy, which, as you'll see, it needs to be. (All images link to the original sizes.)
1) Emergency scarf.
2) My MacBook.
3) My neoprene laptop sleeve.
4) Keys to my flat and to the mailbox.
5) One of my umbrellas, bought this one in Paris. <3
6) iPhone with crotcheted hot pink sleeve.
7) iPod 1.
8) Cable for the MacBook, because the battery doesn't charge anymore.
9) Assortment of earrings and tweezers.
10) USB stick.
1) Giant wallet.
2) Pencil sharpener for my various eyeliners/lipliners/etc. and a foundation brush.
3) Prescription meds.
4) Non-prescription meds for throat aches.
5) Tiniest bottle of L'Occitane verbena shower gel that I use as a soap substitute when there's none (or no hypo-allergenic one) to be had.
6) Lighter.
7) Nude-ish lip gloss.
8) My Kindle, goes with me everywhere.
9) Brace for my left hand/basal thumb joint.
10) Best hairbrush in the universe.
11) Package of loose-leaf green tea. .... look, there could be a tea emergency, alright? A teamergency?
12) Hair wax.
13) Some NARS eyeshadow.
14) Assortment of cards that I carry out of my wallet for one reason or another.
15) A kabuki brush, two MAC lipsticks and my omnipresent Bodyshop lip balm.
16) Moisturiser, I use it for my face and my hands (in winter only, I use a different one during summer).
17) Tattoo/piercing care spray thingy.
18) My makeup essentials: eyebrow pencil (MAC), greasepaint stick in French Quarter (also MAC), mascara (Dior), and eyeliner (Urban Decay, Zero), as well as a blusher assortment in a pretty tartan box (MAC).
19) Pocket mirror.
20) A pen. I know, I was shocked to find one, too.
21) Powder/foundation and Mineralize Finisher that I often use instead of blusher.
22) Two metallic eyeshadows in pewter and dark brown as well as one duo from the Disney Villains collection. Don't know why that last one was in therel it's not exactly day-look.
23) Glass nail file.
24) Two nail polishes and NARS orgasm highlighter.
Because I had one of my makeup bags with me (not usually in there), I thought I might as well photograph the contents.
1) Many many Urban Decay eyehiner pencils. The two stumpiest ones are Zero, of course.
2) A couple of different brushes and one lipliner.
3) Liquid eyeliner (Helena Rubinstein because I like the foam tips they use) and yet another lipstick.
4) Another tweezer, liquid eyeliner in silver, Prep + Prime for lips, another brush.
5) Three lipglosses.
6) Another Dior mascara, this one in brown (the other is black, natch).
7) Yet more liquid eyeliner in brown and blue.
I feel like I've just told you way too much about myself. OH WELL.
ETA: The MensaCard has nothing to do with Mensa by the way. It's a chargeable card for the uni cafeteria/refectory and to make copies/print-outs in the library.
