As a thoughtful gamer with a family full of gamers, and a therapist who studies gaming, I would LOVE to see this film. The trailer is designed to be sensationalistic. I was part of the first generation to grow up with video games, but I managed to avoid becoming heavily addicted to them because my hand-eye coordination is so incredibly bad that I almost always got killed in short order, no matter what the game was. As for the more social-role-playing games, I tend to be bad at interacting with strangers in real life, and I can't imagine that I would be much better in a digital form.
