We did dialup when we had satellite tv, but after we cancelled the tv (due to a neighbor's tree getting in the way of the signal...or we needed a new box that Directv wasn't going to give us) we got the internet. It is expensive I admit but the local library only has 2 public computers and their hours are limited.
