Ok, I finished the semester much better than I thought I would:

Spanish - C - which I knew I was getting and I am ok with that cause I did my best

Sex/Gender/Culture - B+ - wow, shocker, my papers and presentations were all high A's but my tests were not higher than a C

Juvenile Delinquency - B - again, had over 100% on papers but tests not ( Read more... )

Good job with your classes. It sounds like you've made the dean's list before so it's not like your far off. And yeah foreign languages are just hard, especially the older you get.

Yeah, tell me about it. I haven't had spanish since 10th grade - like 23 years ago. But I am fairly confident that I will be able to get a B next semester in spanish. I am going to start working on learning the new vocab and grammer over break to give me a head start.

I made dean's list last semester. Dean's list is a 3.5 GPA. I had also got inducted as a member in due course to the Jacob Albright Scholar Society, but I need to pull the GPA back up to a 3.7 to remain a member.

Hopefully next semester I will not put as much pressure on myself as I did this semester and work like I did last spring, day by day, I get what I get and hopefully things will go much smoother.
