Hallow-meme

We have a couple ghost stories in my family. My favorite one:

My great-great grandmother, at the time a young girl, is returning home in her horse and wagon. She had just dropped her father off somewhere in town. She likes to drive her wagon fast down the road. Then she sees a wagon in front of her, going kinda slow. She gets annoyed but has to slow down since she is stuck behind it. The wagon slowly slows down. She gets really really mad. Finally the wagon in front stops. She gets down from her wagon, goes over to the driver and... the wagon vanishes. Right in front of the wagon is a big ditch. If she had been traveling at her usual speed she would have flipped the wagon and could have died!

We have a few other stories of seeing people, hundreds of miles away, coming to say goodbye at the time of their death. Or even my grandfather attending his own funeral (seen by my skeptic psychologist father AND his sister.)

Ghost wagons are awesome! So, was your grandfather's possible attendance a shared experience between your father and aunt, or did they "see" him independently?

They both saw him independently. I think it only came out later that they both saw him there.
