I've avoided owning a cellphone, but I was given a brand new one for xmas, making me an actual cellphone owner and user. It's nice to have, I guess. Being able to post to twitter from places other than a computer via text message is kind of cool. But the thing I'm really tickled about at the moment is that I just made this my ringtone.

Years ago, I had a pretty basic Nokia brick with your basic mono-syllabic tones. One good thing, though: it had a ringtone composer function. Enter in an arcane code to represent notes and you could program your own tunes.
Even better, someone had determined the arcane formulae for Zappa's G-Spot Tornado. Like yours, I doubt anyone else within hearing had that!

The funny thing about mine is I could have easily used one of the two instances where that music occurs on an official release, but I plucked one that sounded pretty good from a random live recording I happened to be listening to.
