more Farscape icons for yet another challenge II

Another challenge for farscape_20in20. The theme this time was to choose an episode. I chose "Dog with Two Bones," one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I'm not really satisfied with these icons. I don't think they're bad, but...they just don't jump out at me personally. There's only two in this entire set that I would want to use for myself (maybe a third one... ( Read more... )

Firstly... "No Space" scares me... it looks like some creepy Halloween icon...

I love your Artist's Choice styles - specifically the swirly thing in 2 and 3, the flare and text fits perfectly with the scene in 1, and I like 5 in a general sense.

"No Space": That's Noranti, and she is somewhat creepy...

I'm glad you like the swirly thing :D I actually put a radial blur on all 5 of those, though I guess it's hard to see in 1, 4, and 5 if you don't have the previous icon to compare with.

Have you started watching Farscape yet? :D

Ah, so it's a radial blur. I'll have to try that sometime, it gives a nice effect when merged with the base image.

I haven't started Farscape yet, but I also have not started *any* other TV series either. I've been putting it off because I wanted to make sure I got a job first (so that I wouldn't spend my time watching things as opposed to job hunting.... which has happened before >_> ).

However, now that I have a job (well, two...), I think I can certainly start watching it soon :) And while we're on the TV subject, how far are you through Avatar: The Last Airbender? ;)

I've still only seen the first season of Avatar -_- I've also slowed down TV-watching in general, though, so it's not really due to some fault with Avatar. I'm just getting home later and therefore not watching much TV. I need to pick up both Avatar and Battlestar again.

Let me know when you start Farscape :D

They're growing on me, sort of. o_O

I'm glad to hear that Favorite Scene works as a summation of the scene...I liked the accidental "fish-eye" effect that I achieved with it, but I wasn't sold on the cap I used. As you said, there are so many great moments in that scene to choose from.

I tried hard this time to make sure my AC and category sets looked like actual...well...sets, rather than just rows of five icons. I'm glad you feel that they look connected ^_^

I have to go check out your icons ^_^ I haven't been online much in over a week, so I'm quite far behind here at LJ.

These are all wonderful!

My favorite of the "10 themes" is No Space. Good choice of black and white. Noranti looks so evil and creepy! She's one of my favorite characters and I usually don't think she's evil or creepy!

Love the Chi/Jool ones.

I only dislike the second to last "Alternates" icon. Only because it makes me really sad.

Lol! I think Noranti is very creepy, so maybe that's where that came from? ^_^
