Shitty v. Poopy

I feel like I have to defend my usage of poop. Generally, I use the two quite interchangeably, but obviously 'poopy' seems to be the more pervasive one. Why 'poopy' instead of 'shitty'? you ask. Well, I just feel like shitty has a little more agency behind it. It's a perjorative as much as it is a state. For instance, "Shit! I hate homework

well i only use "shit" when suddenly something bad happens, as if i have no control over what word comes out of my mouth. but i use poop or poo most of the time. like, "oh. thats poo". speaking of poop.... :)
