Hawaii Five-0

Been away and forgot it came back on cause quite frankly I was getting bored with the blah storyline. Late with this one because GUESS WHAT GUYS, MED SCHOOL ACCEPTED ME I’M GOING TO BE A DOCTOR. FUCK YEAH.

And on with the show.

Opens with cool music which at least puts me in the mood. The way the show’s been going, the most exciting part ( Read more... )

That about summed it up for me. Well apart from the Lori-rant, I actually didn't mind her so much in her comparatively limited facetime, also, after she's been handed around the whole team they finally seem to have caught on to the sweet&spicy is the least painful of it all, so yeah, more girl power please if we must.
Could anyone else see picket fences and civil unions and adoption papers shine in Steve's eyes like dollar bills? That was such a nice moment.
Sorry dear, show's not back on until Feb.

Oh god. I finally remember it's back on and it disappears again.

And i must agree. Lori and kono, i can maybe stand. Maybe

I KNOW!!! STEVE'S MIND LITERALLY WENT ''I'm going to get Danny a baby for his birthday'' and then we can love it together.

Yeah... I'm kind of not happy with all those shows coming back early this year and then having two week hiat..uses? ...i? after one of two episodes. Really, they should have waited it out then.

Steve so wants to be a baby daddy even if he doesn't know it yet. He would be amazing too.

Never be sorry for what you rant about - free speech and all that LOL. I think Jack McGarrett and John Winchester went to the same parenting school.

They should be gay and rent out a womb and have an adorable Steve-baby.

OH GOD YES!!

As far as that birthing book - I have 2 kids, both by C-section. For my first, the 'C' was unexpected, like Rachel, (also due to fetal stress) but she apparently took it calm as a cucumber. ("Oh, I'm going to have surgery, they're going to cut me open and remove the baby - Danny, dearest, please read me a book about breathing.")

I didn't mind Lori this ep, because she was apparently there to do her job and not got in the middle of everything else.

Nicky and his boys sounded like 15 year olds with a sugar rush and you know the flamethrower is going to end up in Danny's trunk somehow LOL.

Yes, wallflower Lori was bearable. I just don't like how she doesn't add anything to the team dynamic.

Steve wants a baby and a flamethrower.

Oh you could so totally see it Steve's eyes...I want one and I want one now (a flamethrower that is!) It will 100% end up in the Camaro! And dear sweet Lord, the look on Steve's face when he went to see Danny at the hospital and saw how much he wants another baby. And then realised how much he wants a baby. With Danny. Together. So I just wana say that I totally agree with the renting of a womb and having an adorable Steve baby. And being gay. *Nods*

It's a beautiful thought huh? So beautiful that I zoned out thinking about what a beautiful think gay Steve and Danny together would be and let the sink overfill with water and suds...oops! *Faceplants*

Fangirling is the most beautiful behaviour. Even when we faceplant.
Don't worry. I catch myself quoting fanfictions out loud to other people who then ask me what I'm quoting hahaha

Exactly!

Danny and Steve would make such good parents... Danny would do all the mother-henning, and Steve would be the one who encourages the kids to take risks and push their boundaries...

As for Lori, she was practically wallpaper this episode, which made her almost bearable. However, if she stays they won't keep her at this level (because why waste good money on a character that does virtually nothing?), her screen time will go back up.

I still think it's sad that the best thing a lot of people can say about the Lori character is 'I didn't mind her so much this week'. I don't want to 'not mind' her, I want to *like* her. Or at least care about what happens to her character. Which I don't. She just seems utterly pointless to me, and I don't understand why she's still on the show.

I'd like to care about her, but I just don't see how she adds anything. And this week, it looked like she was giving Danny the 'come hither' looks, while last time it was Steve. The writers don't seem to be entirely sure what is going on.

oh, and Danny is such a motherhen.
