Oompa-oompa-oompa-oompa. (repeat ad nauseum)
Way cool, accordeon is a fanky instrument which roots lie in an medieval bombardie and some celtic instrument, made of bear skins. I reckon it was also used by romans and some of sir Robin minstrels.

Lost in Shinjuku adi_yogev May 6 2006, 06:04:02 UTC
I don't know...
I went off at Shinjuku JR station, but never managed to find the interesting area.
I just walked around a lot of tall office buildings and didn't see any area of small shops with kanji on them...
bummer.

When you get settled a little more I recommend also going to the Disnyland thingy, it's pretty cool.

What else?... the Bigor aftershock seems to have died away... we are now looking for the suckers that will do number 7.

I am going to do the PR for Icon!! that's something completely differnet from the stuff I already did and I hope it will be interesting and not just tiresome.

Also I am in a Gorodin production! this time from the stage side - I will have a small acting part. :) He even auditioned me!

I have a good friend from work in Japan now, in Hiroshima, but I don't think I'll get to go there again.

anywho - have fun and good luck at work!

Unfortunetly, no phone yet...

Will have a cell phone from tomorrow hopefully.

Once I get a phone in the apt, I'll give it to you.

Yes - Shinjuku was not such a hit.. nothing too interesting...

Tell me more about the Gorodin thingie (If you're allowed).

You? On a bicycle? This must be the end of the world... :)

I'm happy to hear you've been getting around a little.

Dash from Rotem and from the Rosens. They talk about you a lot!

I miss you! I can't wait until you have internet again.

I liked the "I'm going places". :)
You definitly are!

I keep forgetting to tell you: I called "Enterprise" to rent a car with Rotem. I gave them the phone number here, and then the guy asked me "Am I speaking to Yoni, Yoni Alkan?"

Ok... I have some questions... adi_yogev May 7 2006, 11:45:56 UTC
First - don't get your hopes up, 95% that this will NOT happen. but maybe maybe.
And for that maybe maybe I need to ask you stuff because you don't have a phone and if it WILL happen it might be very last minute, so I want to be prepared.

So - I am going to Taiwan this Friday - you know this. Now - there is a chance (20-30% chance) that I will need to go to the US from there.
Now... since this is an "around the world" ticket, there is a chance that I can stop in Japan on the way without changing the cost of the ticket. I don't know if that's prossible!! anywho, just for the 5% chance that it will happen:

I need exact directions on how to get from the Narita airport to your place by train or whatever, including the costs of the transportation.

If it WILL happen it will be next Saturday-Sunday (in almost two weeks).

And again - don't get your hopes up!

miss ya!
Adi
