bein a lil geeky today. downloading some software for fun and protection. fun side i downloaded WindowBlinds fun program to play with if you wanna change the color of your taskbar windows and the such to match your tatses or your wallpaper. for protection i got SpywareGuard and SpywareBlaster. I'm thinking about getting Zone alarm for firewall

thanks just got it installed and wow just after i installed it and hopped online it blocked 12 things :/ glad i got it in time before things got worse that my other programs couldnt protect me from or windows firewall couldnt fight off. and while typing this reply it blocked a whole lot more! i got McAfee anti-virus with security center too and it brought up my anti hacjer rating to 10 rather than the low number from windows firewall lol it also has slots for anti abuse and anti spam and of course i really dont want to buy that software from McAfee so hopefully theres some more free programs out there to give me a full scale protection

!Avast ome Edition (Free Anti-virus, runs GREAT!)

Spybot Search & Destroy (Use in conjunction with Ad-Aware)

PS Is there a Fright Factory this year? If so I want to work it, and so does Caleb more than likely (since we have no trail to work)

hey bro yea i got everyhtng now my virus scan is McAfee heheh. before ZoneAlarm my MC security center said my antivirus was 10 and my firewall which was windows firewall was like extremely low number since McAfee wants everyone to buy their firewall and the such. so now i get ZoneAlarm and it dissables my windows firewall so it can take over now MC seurity center give my firewall rating a solid 10 lol. and now overall protection is up toa whopping 8.5 from its past score of 4-6 since it hated windows firewall and i dont want to buy the MC antispam and antiabuse. so im stuck with 2 10's in the better side of security and overal 8.5 that will make me happy for the time being. currently theres some bastard from a bellsouth isp that wont stop scanning my ports gets annoying at times
