That's what I figure. Or at least start looking for an arts job after this entire co-op shite is over.
It's fucking impossible to find an entry-leve job in arts that 1. pays you. 2. is 4 months long, which is the requirements for co-op. Most of the directors and everything I talk to don't even want to deal with my school's administration.
Co-op is only good for 2 things: Money and something to put on a resume. So if you find a job that pays, even if it isn't your field. Take it! If it's a good name even better.
Look at me I did data entry and business crap on my work terms. I'm a programmer with no co-op programming experience. Doesn't mean I won't be able to find a job in the field though. You'll still be ahead of all those non co-op ppl. Sometime's a name on a resume really is better than experience.
