$5 million means your rich

John McCain was asked to define "rich". He responded that if you mean income, it's around $5 million a year.

So that means $2.5 income would be middle class. And $1 million would be "comfortable". I must be living in a poverty third world countries envy.

He sounds like he is extremely literate in economics.

Since when did middle class = rich/2? Is that math you invented to try to make McCain look bad, or is that something he actually said?

PS: If you ask Obama, he'd probably say "rich" was around $75,000 and would want to tax you accordingly.

That's exactly what it was. And I don't need to invent my own stuff to make McCain look bad. He does it on his own. I just made it up according to his logic. You know, out of his ass.

P.S. Obama did define what he thought was rich. “I would argue that if you are making more than $250,000, then you are in the top 3, 4 percent of this country,” he said.

I agree.
