I tried to start writing a story, its probably going to be short as I actually want to see if I can see this one through to the end, so it probably won't be very long. It is based off a dream I had last I slept. Not going to go into the details here.

There is no way in hell, from what I've read, that it's going to be short. Judging from your set up (and knowing that the characters will write the story for you), I think this could easily hit the 50,000 word mark, which is 70-80 pages. More a novella than a short story. Don't be freaked by that, because as I told you last night, as long as you don't fight the characters in writing their story, it will fill up those pages fast.

Hah! Yeah considering it a short story is pretty optimistic for me, I didn't want to stretch it and say novella when I'm not even sure how long I'll end up writing for. Or even if I'll manage to see this through to completion. I get distracted easily, but perhaps my character will poke and prod me along this path and it will end up being my first completed story.

Well, technically not first -short- story, but first novella at least. If it turns out to be roughly as long as you assume.

Thought you'd like to know there is more added to the story now, and I plan to write again shortly. Hopefully I'll add a little each day to keep up momentum. Its only another 1000'ish words and hopefully by the end of tonight there will be another number of words. :)
