You're very welcome. They were truly great fireworks, certainly more exciting than those I've seen at the Calgary Stampede.

Shooting directly across the river from them definitely helped me get some good shots. While I've shot fireworks before, I don't think I've ever had this ratio of good/bad before. 17 keepers out of about 80 :)

I need to sit down and hack together a way to tripod mount my GoPro though, would have loved to have caught the entire thing in 1080p HD as well. Some bits of the fireworks show just couldn't be captured as stills.
