First, I think that is EXACTLY why Obama reacted the way he did.

Second, Oh. My. Goodness. That makes me want to visit that Museum just to experience the bathroom.

At NPR, the librarians kept a file of material ready for people who might pass away. (Of course, those people are usually over 70). But generally, it is par for the course with the media. I don't think you can fault them for being prepared. Of course, you can fault them for pandering and going totally overboard in canonizing someone whose life they spent covering, and in some sense destroying (not that MJ didn't help!).
