Thanks! While I don't think S3 will show Sherlock to have been working alone, I wanted to explore what it might have been like for him to try. (And I laughed at the line you chose to highlight. I'd finished all the rest and was finding the porn writing really hard. I looked at the lines I'd made him say, realised it was utterly cliche stuff and tried to work out how to justify Sherlock of all people having said it!)

I did enjoy the way you showed Lestrade and Sherlock relating to each other, especially Lestrade's concerns for Sherlock and his own needs being conflicted and then resolved.

Thank you. I wanted to explore the sense of both of them fumbling their way through complicated circumstances.

Oh, I like this. Poor Lestrade, and poor Sherlock, but hey, a moment of respite.

Lovely, just perfect the second time around...I envy your skill at snarky-sex...these two are just great at it. And I love that Sherlock isn't coping and Greg lets him know exactly how much he owes everyone else for keeping his life on track before the fall...

Thanks for your help, as ever. I particuarly wanted to undermine the idea of Sherlock the great lone genuis.
