*there isn't much to be heard beyond an unamused grunt and some rustling. Obviously he's found the Halloween bag* You know I never liked this holiday...Except for being able to do as I pleased on a single night without so much as a question. I have a feeling I won't get that free pass here, though.

As for that prey...my interest in her waned after her death; it's no great loss.

If not, this elder festival was dedicated to death in its entirety. During the eve of Samhain, the veil between the worlds was said to be thin, thus allowing the escape of spirits into the living world.
It is the shadow beneath the lighthearted costumes and such. I find it the more intriguing component.
