Fourteenth Night: It's better in the dark

The more I see here, the more apparent hypocrisy becomes.

When does killing stop being senseless and become necessary in a place where the laws of life and death are not normal? And who are any of you to judge what is "just"?

Just something to think on.

I had forgotten about you. It was merely a general observation.

Good. But then, what about? Some other shit like that going on?

As I said...a general observation about things that have occurred in my time here.

You don't even need to be here long to notice the hypocrisy. It's just a sad fact of existence, apparently.

It's almost funny, really. Suddenly, their morals and values are what suits the situation rather than the beliefs they clung to so dearly...

But this is nothing new to me.

I've noticed. It's ridiculous. It makes those beliefs that they held worthless and, in turn, their opinion.

And yet they are quick to condemn those who have a belief and stick to it regardless of the situation...

You're intriguing. Your name?

That it does; it just seems more prevalent here.

Exactly the type of hypocrisy I speak of here. It's become more and more obvious an eye for an eye does not work here...

It doesn't change what's right and wrong on a basic level.

Yet those who say killing is wrong think it is right to kill the murderer. An eye for an eye rarely works...

You're very correct on that, actually. One of the few things we agree on.

Some beings lack morals altogether...
