I usually don't keep anyone updated on what I do when I go out of town, but I'm particularly bored right now, so I feel the need to entail the details of this weekend."

Friday, 11th

Kevin got to my house around 7:30, and I was busy copying stuff from a DVDRW to my laptop, so we just played pop'n music until it got done copying. However, my DVD rom was reading the disc slower than I burned it, so we ended up leaving the house around 8:30 or so. We did some general chatting about whatever we could think of, while listening to some kickin' tunes. Eventually I pulled out my laptop and popped in braveheart, and we watched that while driving. Eventually we made a stop at the Diamond Shamrock in Madisonville, where we stocked up on gatorade, water, chips, and nutterbutter cookies. It was also an opportune time to let our digestive systems do their thing; I had to take a piss, but kevin had to take a shit, and he had plans for this shit. So, he took his dump, I bought the food/drinks, and we headed out. Kevin strategically waited for about 5 minutes, until we got back onto the highway, to tell me that he had, in fact, taken a shit IN THE SINK OF THE BATHROOM. I laughed so hard, that I couldn't breathe! So after that, we continued watching Braveheart, and just talking. Eventually we got into the woodlands, and we saw this prelude with a body kit. So, naturally, being in a car that's just flat out faster than the prelude, we pulled up beside it. Kevin waited for the Prelude to do anything....eventually he shifted down and started accelerating, and Kevin did this right after, but when we started pulling, the prelude started cutting us off, and immediately started brake checking us. This shit does not fly! So, Kevin requested that I boot up his laptop to use his engine management program: The goal was to turn off the fuel cutoff, so we could pull in front of this fuck ass and shoot flames out of Kevin's exhaust. Well, it didn't go quite as planned, because the prelude exited. So we started messing with a corvette for a little bit, with little result. So, we got into houston and met Ruben, Shawn, Sam, and Kevin Eigen at the House of Pies(a really fucking gay restaurant, literally). We described the details of our trip to them, then went to Ruben's house to chill. We grabbed some Jack in the Box and just chatted on the internet on our respective laptops. We then slept.

Saturday, 12th

We got up at about 10, because Eric called me. Eric is interested in buying a Toyota MR2, and needed someone to test drive it, who was already proficient at driving manual. So I test drove the car with this gangster asian who I guess owned it, or represented the guy who owned it. He talked about beating civics with it, which isn't really that much of an accomplishment, in standard gangster asian dialogue. It was a pretty nice ride, had a short shifter, though the bushings were kinda crap. So we finished that and went to a "Taco Hut"(taco bell/pizza hut). Then we went to that dilapidated piece of shit arcade, Funplex. Previously, the DDR machine there was great, however, it has since degraded, apparently. So, after that dissapointment, we hit up Little Caesar's for Dinner. Little Caesar's is the salvation of man, in my firm opinion; 4 people were able to procure the following items: 2 Pepperoni Pizza's for 5.26 a piece, and 4 orders of Crazy bread, along with 2 orders of Crazy Sauce for 99 cents, and 89 cents, respectively. So, the total cost was around 20 bucks for this huge FEAST. We watched zoolander while eating this awesome meal. Shortly after, Eric left, and the rest of us just chilled around ruben's house. Lizzie and Delaney soon showed up, and we all had a good time just talking and chilling. I finally crashed at about 2 am; apparently they had wanted to put a june bug on me, but the said plan was foiled by Lizzie, a blanket being placed on me instead.

Sunday, 13th

I woke up around 1:00, with not much to do, so I booted up Final Fanatasy XI on my laptop and played while everyone was still sleeping. Everyone else woke up around 3:00, and we just, once again, lounged around. We played some beatmania, then decided it was time to eat. We all headed to Chipotle, but Lizzie and Delaney were broke, so they opted to go to wendy's, but upon rendezvous, they had actually purchased subway. Because subway is a lot cheaper than Wendy's. Sure. After that, we went to the Galleria, and walked around. We went into the SonyStyle store, which was vastly crunk....but everything was vastly expensive too. Then we went into this candy store and Kevin stole a piece of gum, and after we got done in there he conveniently placed it in a row of candy stuff. Gross. So we got back to Ruben's and hung out some more, then it started raining like mad. Which is bad because Kevin's left-rear tire was bald. Eventually the rain curtailed and we were able to leave.

So, we got to the woodlands, and we were listening to a particularly euphonious song, when we heard a cocophonous noise coming from the rear of the car, companied with violent turbulence. We concluded we were riding on the rim, and pulled off the highway, into some random person's driveway, whose house was conveniently located on the service road. No one was home, as they didn't bother us the whole time. Anyway, the tire had a giant hole in it, and was practically coming off the wheel, and smelled fucking terrible. Kevin and I laughed about it a little bit, but then got to work on removing the wheel, and replacing it with the spare in his trunk. We eventually got back on the road, around 10:00. We couldn't go over 60 mph, as the spare had warned about going over 50 mph. We talked about this and that on the way back, giving each other insight and advice on various topics, making various jokes, generally having a good time. We eventually got to my house at about 2:15 am, and he took off. That ends the Houston Trip. @_@
