He had a simple, obvious, well-understood selfish goal going into office: drive up the demand for oil. Everything he did in office succeeded in pulling this off. He got America to support a war with a country that had nothing to do with anything, then did it again, with no results, and then did it again with Iran. He convinced America that they need a totalitarian state, and got re-elected.
And the best part is, most Americans think he's INCOMPETANT. HAH!
