What a wonderful and creative story. 98% of it made me grin like crazy. That little bit about him discovering the note later in his space suit made me wibble.

Even if it's the teensiest mention, I still had to get Nine in there, too ... I think we both know he'd never partake in a note-writing war (so not him), but I couldn't not throw in an acknowledgement of Nine/Rose love, too.

This was AWESOME. I'm so glad you took this prompt and ran with it, this is very much the sort of abstract concept I had in mind but knew I could never do justice to. I love that the game, as it were, started with Ten and then bled into their life after JE. And LOL as soon as you mentioned her slipping a note into the spacesuit I was hoping you would go the WOM route with it and I am totally delighted that you did. So many of the season 2 notes were adorable (the note on the money! and the one from TIL!) and the Army of Ghosts one was so ominous :( and all the post-JE stuff was adorable. I love the symmetry with the polaroid and the note below; it was such a nice way to round off the fic. This must have taken an age! Well done.
