I love Taika's sets because they're the far extreme of that mindset. Just do whatever, try whatever, leap into things and see what happens. Another reason to want to work with Todd. Joaquin too but I feel like he'd be so intimidating to work with, sorry mate!

Working with Todd was absolutely incredible and I can't wait to work with him, and with you, again. Playing Arthur was a treat and I'm so very ready to do it again, while dreading it at the same time. I never understood why people thought Arthur would ever harm Sophie, honestly. Thank you for not sharing the Q&A, I'm so damn embarrassing in it.

They expected it to be like so many other tragedies where the woman dies at the hand of the man that loves her. Kind of a "If I can't have her, no one can" thing. I think a lot of those strict directors get stuck wanting their vision to be reality and fail to see that sometimes the reality they want isn't going to translate from idea to celluloid as brilliantly as they think it will. I, too, love when we're allowed freedom to alter. Like, it's not just their movie. It's our image and reputation on the line too! If we think something's bad, we're going to want to change it!

I loved Joker. You and Joaquin excelled. It was also interesting to see how you prepared for the premiere. You looked fabulous!

They are so stuck in their head & it's hard to get them to come out of there! You said it. It's not just their movie! Any situation can find a happy middle ground but both sides have to be willing to budge & change their way of thinking. It can feel like pulling teeth!

I really loved Joker a lot and I'm usually not a big fan of superhero movies, but I guess I've always had a soft spot for the villains more.

Super villains have a lot more depth. That's what I like about them. Discovering what made them become evil is more interesting than what kept someone on the right side of ethics.
