I wasn't sure how this musical would turn out since it was written for Warner Brothers and it starred Doris Day. I forgot that before Doris Day starred with Cary Grant she was a famous chanteuse . That girl can sing, and she is funny
Howard Keel is also charming as Wyatt Earp. Howard was one of those men who got better looking as he got got older or maybe it was studio polish. Either way he was better looking in this movie than in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. The song lyrics are very clever and the music is extremely enjoyable. 5 Stars.
