She was falling for Kyo.
She didn't even know how it happened. She had always forbade herself from doing it, even, because Kyo was the “bad boy”. He had tattoos, he cut himself, and he was in a hard rock band. But, he was wildly free in a way that she had never known, so maybe that was what attracted her to him.
She may have been falling for Kyo, but she was in love with Hiroto. Well... she was supposed to be.
Hiroto noticed her attraction to Kyo, but didn't say anything. He just stood there, his eyes fixed on her, as she looked up at Kyo who was
passionately singing Mushi. Hiroto wanted to snap her out of this transfixion of hers, before it got worse, but he didn't do anything; Merely stood there hoping...
He couldn't stand by when he saw Kyo openly flirting with his girlfriend, though. That was too much. That was HIS girlfriend dammit, and he would be rather be poked in the eye with a fork than lose her.
But maybe... Maybe those two were like magnets. Maybe they would be attracted to each other no matter what, because they opposites and people said they usually attract each other. If Hiroto's girl was pure and white then Kyo was comparable to kohl...
As The GazettE would put it: The reverse side of beauty, it dyed by beloved filth~
Hiroto couldn't let that happen to her...
But then again... Was it really his place to save her? And if he did, would she even be happy? Her happiness was actually more important to Hiroto than his own possessive and selfish desires. Damn...
He was at war with himself, and while fighting with himself he didn't notice his girl had drove the other side of town with that “bad boy” and crept into the back of a dusty recording studio with him where VULGAR acts ensued. He didn't really noticed, but he sure felt it when she tore herself away from his heart. She had practically clawed her way out and has left a hole in her wake. It would take a long time to fix that hole...
Everyone (meaning her and Kyo) was happy, except for Hiroto and he found that pretty disturbing. It wasn't so odd, though, once he figured out that he only reason he had lost to Kyo was because Kyo knew what he wanted and went after it, disregarding everyone else and their worthless feelings. Hiroto, on the other hand, sat around worrying everyone else until it was too late. Maybe he could stand to learn something from Kyo, the one person he hated most right now. Cause' there really is something to learn from everyone...
He didn't really want to learn anything right now, though... He just desperately wanted his girlfriend back.
VULGAR is the name of a Dir en grey album, in case you didn't know.
Here's another link to their performance of Mushi, in case you missed it in the story:
click.
I couldn't help but throw a line from The GazettE's song Filth In The Beauty in there. Haha~
This drabble arose because I've been listening to Dir en grey a lot lately. I think Kyo is pretty talented and oddly attractive, but I wouldn't trade Hiroto up for him. (^_~) Comment if you enjoyed it!
