I hope that this birthday won't be as troubling as you fear. M

y partner is 17 years older than me, and we've organized 30th, 40th, 50th, and 60th birthday parties for each other. (30, 40, 50 for me; 40, 50, 60 for him.) The next one will be 70 for my Bob in the summer of 2013. So I think I understand well what you are feeling. It's funny how one's sense of what is "old" can change. I've come to the conclusion that a man is not old until he is 80. I hope to revise that upwards in a decade or so. But I would say you have at least 20 years before you can start thinking of yourself as old. There is an old saying, "you're only as old as you feel." I hope that some day I can feel you and see for myself how old you feel....

Ahh you're not old ;-)

Believe me, in my personal experience of men older than I, you're still a young un...I would say top of the list but that could be misconstrued.

*innocent look*
