Today, rather than doing actual work, I went to a stem cell symposium at UCSF. We arrived an hour late because I trusted the directions of a coworker, who claimed she had "spent all day looking at the directions on the website so we wouldn't get lost." Naturally, this was not the case. Of course, I had planned an alternate and more direct route
