I'm sorry to inform you, 'coq' is pronounced kind of like 'coke,' not 'cock.' So the words blur into something like: cocoa-vah[n] (that 'n' being a nasal tone, not actually pronounced). Woe, I know. Still, that they're sorta homographic is an excellent reason to try cooking it. (Because it's French or because it's delicious are other, equally acceptable reasons.)
But now I want hot cocoa. With cinnamon and whipped cream, really the only way to drink it. Damn you.
