brucey i think you should go! i'm not saying that i want you to go away cause i love you, but this could be your chance to get out and see different parts of the world! i could see you doing so many great things :) but whatever you decide to do and or go, i'll write you letters even if it does take a very long time for you to get them :)

Perhaps, if it's what you want to do and you feel it would be rewarding. But unlike the other people that commented, I'm not sure how logical an experience it would be. I wasn't going to comment because it wouldn't be positive. Yet again, I think maybe you need the concrete-sequential side of it. So here are a few of the concerns I would personally hold, from which you can take what you will ( ... )

Ah, English Education. I guess that counts me out from ever joining the Peace Corps. Not that I would anyways, to which my list attests.

i won't bother reading the other comments, and i'll voice my own opinion.

I think that you need to do lots and lots of research on it before making a decision that it's truly for you... and then, i think it is the most wonderful idea. it's absolutely amazing, and being away from home probably won't be as bad as you think. i mean, you'll really be living, and it's sooo important to know that there's more world out there than, say, new england...lol. i would be kinda jealous too. but i still think it's amazing... 27 months has been how long i've in college, and it seems like nothing...

if it really does sound good to you, than go for it!!! and when you DO get home, i'll want to hear lots about it!

seeing as you were listing to such great heights while composing this update, it means that you have your shit together. I support everything you do, but you have to know that you will make a difference in what ever you do. What an awesome oppertunity though, i love you soooo much, and i think that it is something you would never forget. even if you left for 27 months none of us back home will ever forget you.
