Quick note on rooming at ACUS

Feb 19, 2010 09:12

I'm curious if there's some potential roommates at ACUS, for Thurs-Mon, floating around... I have a line in on a group of 5 that was willing to fit in one room, but with 6 would mitose into two, and so it seems worthwhile to see if I can spare them that. I have a pretty small stuff footprint and I don't snore and I find the couch a comfy sleeping

Make sure that everyone knows not to use the convention code -- you save a LOT of money on rooms either by paying in advance or using the AAA rate instead. (The people who have emailed me averaged a $100 savings over the weekend.)

Consider our hat in the ring--there will be one or two (ironing out details/twisting arms) in the room and think a room mate would be groovy. (Warning: I *do* snore.)

Yes. Yes you do.

I'm told that I do, too. So while you're more than welcome to share with us, ear plugs might be handy.

Are you guys doing a King room or a Double Queen?

FYI, Embassy Suites has Double Twins, not Double Queens.

Jill and I currently have two of us in a King room Thurs-Sun, with me trying to find someone to stay with for Sunday night. So the couch is unoccupied. :) So if you wanted to, you could room with us until Sunday, and you and I could share a room Sunday night - I'd just have to make a separate reservation for that, since the current reservation is pre-paid.
