First lines, 20 songs

For me, this meme, enduring entertainment. The rules: I put all my music on shuffle, write out the first lines of the first 20 songs that play. You guess them. If the actual title is in the first line, I replace it with "blah blah blah"... NB, the number of blahs does not necessarily correlate to the number of words replaced. Yep, I got a pretty good mix of songs that people know when I shook WinAmp this time... And I threw out the songs that even I couldn't ID without looking at the play listing. :D

Actually, I do have the shadowflyer version... :) It's interesting, when I was reading up on the Arab Revolt I realized that's what the lyrics were referring to. Just from the song there's enough data to place its conception in history.

Also, you are right about everything. I'm glad someone else out there knows obscure Greatful Dead!

Hm. Ok, fair enough. I just can't find people who know the Greatful Dead at all. And for my part, I'm just someone who lucked into a random passel of songs of theirs back in the days of Napster.

Maybe they think about it as Separate Ways instead? Maybe they think "surely there cannot be THAT MUCH 80s in this playlist"? Maybe they bad some bad acid once during a power ballad and blocked the entire genre from their minds?
