I think. A lot. I'm loving the new opera music to which I was introduced because it's relaxing to have something in the background, but since I can't understand what the fuck they're saying I'm not trying to follow along. You'd be surprised. Actually, you're only losing more of yourself by staying in your typical life routines. Take small steps. Do things you wouldn't normally do. Especially things that contradict your mood. If you're depressed, go have fun. If you're pissed, listen to good mood music. Etc etc.

Some close conversation with a friend brought this up. Lately I've been biking every free moment of every day. I exercise, now. It's hard to see a difference because it's still very new, but I've been much more conscious of my physical appearance and condition. I've also opened up myself to new forms of music... both of these changes are things I've wanted to do for quite some time and have recently finally had someone to give me that tug I needed to get going... and I'm loving every moment of it so far. There are also areas in which I'm giving her a little push, but they're different and more time-consuming, so it's understandable that the changes haven't been made. Like you said, a little bit at a time ( ... )
