Or that the voice speaking is that of a dead man he killed through his plotting years ago? yes, that's a voice he won't forget. He doesn't believe in Hell, nor does he believe an Assassin can say the truth. He doesn't believe in Ghosts either, and he's fairly sure he didn't die. So for a minute he's going to be there, in stupor at the voice he hears. That's just not possible. He died. ]
