Yeah sadly. The recent one who left the Naruto fandom is HALCO. But it's for the better because she's gonna concentrate on Gintama :D and she's a great artist to when it comes to drawing GINSHIN 8D But i really pray very hard for Komae Salon to stay in the Gintama fandom. I think she's one of the amazing artist in Gintama fandom!
About the showcase manga, i wonder who's got to be the first person to be honoured such thing? Does the series has a name so that may be i can look for it?
Ah so "Oh! My Sweet Baby!!" was for a teacher's fair.. I saw her promoting the comic at her website. I thought he looked like Gintoki too! hehehehe... I notice that's Yamada Sakurako on the 2nd panel, isn't it? Now I really wanna get a copy of that because of them!
PLUGNESSSS!!! I haven't got anything from her except a few in the anthologies that i bought. I want the one with the cover made by her! *weeps*

The showcase manga is called 同人作家コレクション (Doujinsakka Collection)
It has on paper strip that wraps around it who were no.31-42 and who was going to be 44 (Sagami Waka) This one was published in May last year. I don't know how often they come out. It was the first time I ever say anything like it and I grabbed because it was Nanao.
Yeah that is Yamada Sakurako on the cover. But each mangaka is a a separate book. This only has Matsumoto in it. I just looked and they had the Teacher Fair again and Matsumoto put out the second part to this one. She's hanging with some well know mangaka's now isn't she? I'm sure she'll go pro and then I'm sure she'll be too busy for Gintama :( Although that'd be great for her and I'll always be a fan no matter what she does. [Stopping myself from looking for her latest Gundam books]

uke!Taka looks so hot on that shiny cover and even though i'm not much of a fan of angular faces, the TakaHiji looks very interesting!
I've got (or will soon have) most of those Harumaki Tokiko books, except for the one next to 'point of no return'. What's the title of that? Now i just need to find the newest one listed on her website...

The lastest book on her site is Hamon (ripple) the middle part. Which is the next book after the one I just bought above. Does that mean you've got Hamon the first part too? What an ending! I'm dying to find out what happens next.
I'll have to make a list of all her books so I can mark them off as I get them :)
I'm glad DopeHour are going to scan 2 of them for me :D
Now if I can just get all the translations done for Hijikata's birthday next month I can seriously start spreading the Sakamoto Love!!

Theoretically. Still waiting for it to arrive. I've been having a bit of a streak of bad luck with my orders lately. Remember those books i bought from this person in the Gintama dj comm? Didn't get those either, yet. And to top it all of, we've got post office strikes here now, so i don't even know who's to blame...oh well, nothing much i can do but wait, i suppose.

I hate waiting for stuff. I order English Manga from the US once a month and this month it got sent in 2 envelopes and only 1 turned up so far. They get sent at the same time but once they turned up 3 weeks apart. This is why I love EMS - it's expensive, but it's fast and it's trackable.
