Is anyone as surprised as I am that Mark de Thing pulled off Nutbush without looking like a jackass? Woo, I'm not as bored with his 'YAYE RAWK' attitude as I was previously. This clearly means I am open minded.

That Oasis guy can get the hell out of my house, though. That's for losing balance, falling over on his back and twitching like a turtle ( Read more... )

Lollllllllll Idol. What the hell is wrong with Mark this season? Is he on crack? Or is he just not taking ENOUGH crack?

Slughorn/Stuffed armchair sounds HOT.

I KNOW. Whatever it is, he's taking it out on Dicko for some reason. It's like he secretly blames him for his crack withdrawl. Calm yourself, Holden.

Disco Night was so much better than Rock night, though, which was just an omg failure. I guess because I don't like disco, so my expectations weren't that high. Hence my appreciation of Mark de Costa's Nutbush.

I still hate that Michael Bubble impersonator guy with the fire of a thousand suns, however. I never want to hear Clocks cruise-shipped like that again, EVER. Gah.

I am so behind on my Idol watching that I haven't technically started. I can barely remember the hosts' names. Those advertisements were kind of lame-tastic, though.

"Singing ALL the hits from [band, band, classic british band, band]!"
Erm, well, they'll sing them poorly. And those bands will never visit Australia. And our dinky talent show will never produce such talent. But, y'know...hitz!

Alas that I cannot help you with recs. Soldier on, friend.

Gah, the ads. Funny how every vaguely British band was labelled as 'Britpop'. Including the Beatles. What. Oh, the Snandy bunnies were sated soon after that post, but thanks anyway. *potters off to pair up more obscure characters*

Indira! So I promised to spam you, even though you were all "eh, livejournal", so you probably won't ever notice this comment - but that is a GOOD THING.
