amazing. now i'm intrigued by this american pre-school teacher in china. something about his post (maybe the coldness) reminded me of snow falling on cedars, or maybe the encounter of something foreign. i want to re-read that book. (the first one i ever wanted to!)
his journey seems very romantic and out of the ordinary. i hope one day we can all travel the expanse of the world, beyond our bubbles right now, beyond shelters and quotidian worries signifying nothing. oh i want to so badly.
I already wrote as much in my own journal, but now that you're posting here again it just seems more polite for me to tell you here in your own, I have really been enjoying your weekly e-mails. To know the world is to see the world. Well done, Benjamin.

Like I've said before, and I continue to ask now to people who request such a thing, I'd like to know why. After all, it is my friends list, and I will not be dictacted to on how I go about my business unless there is a valid reason.
By asking me for such a thing, I'm sure that means I am no longer your friend, and if that is so, then I really don't see a reason why you should be concerned on whether someone else finds your presence a good thing.

It doesn't seem to me that you find my presence a good thing, as I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times you've commented on my journal.
And I like to have a tidy "friend of" list. Shoot me.

I have removed you, although it is only because you replied to my post. I'm not sure how you can choose what people like you and what people don't like you, because I added you for the reason that I liked your journal entries and I even had you on a special list. I don't usually comment on other journals, because I don't spent a lot of time with livejournal. I'm sorry you felt the need to exclude me, at the risk of insult.
