Feeling is good...try to ride the emotion out like a wave. My therapist said that emotion itself never hurt anybody...you've just got to be able to refrain from doing something or acting on it. Acknowledge it, don't fight it, experience it, and let it go. Keep an open and curious mind about it. I suppose it can provide an opportunity for new insights into yourself.
It really sucks that you had a car accident and that your shoulder got hurt...but I am really glad that you are alive and not mangled. :)
